OUR MISSION
The wireless logistics business is our business at BDI. As a full-service wireless communications distributor, BDI specializes in procurement, refurbishment and fulfillment for the wireless industry. We are committed to providing each client with a rapid, flexible and customizable bundle to fit their exact needs including full service logistics, PSPS, branding and kitting solutions, custom portal, wireless wholesale featuring new and refurbished devices and accessories, refurbishment and recycling management, and lifeline distribution.
We pride ourselves on our fully alarmed state-of-the-art facility, robust systems and security measures and years of experience in the wireless logistics industry. The BDI team takes the time to completely understand the deliverables required and is uniquely positioned to rapidly and effectively meet the needs of each unique project.

CORPORATE LEADERSHIP
Charles Emig
Founder and Managing Partner
Charles brings to his role at BDI more than 20 years experience working with organizations large and small, including start-up firms and Fortune 500 companies. He has devoted his entire career to the wireless industry, with emphasis on the areas of retail, prepaid, distribution and logistics. Prior to founding BDI in 2009, Charles held the position of President of Airlink Mobile (Kajeet/Airlink, LLC), a leading prepaid wireless service sold in more than 7,000 retail locations around the country. He also served in management roles with leading wireless companies including WorldCom, Wireless Retail and Radio Shack.
Kevin Asher
Partner – COO/CFO
Kevin has served as BDI’s COO/CFO since 2013 and oversees management and execution of BDI’s lifeline distribution business in addition to its finance and accounting functions. Prior to joining BDI, Kevin served as Chief Financial Officer of Calibrus, Inc., a publicly traded OTC bulletin board company specializing in third party verification services primarily within the insurance and telecom space industries. He also held the positions of Vice President of Finance for AirLink Mobile, Inc., an industry leading mobile virtual network operator and provider of prepaid wireless telephone service; and Director at MCA Financial Group Ltd. of Phoenix, which provides advisory services to businesses, financial institutions and investor groups in the areas of financial restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, business oversight, and corporate and capital formation. Kevin has also worked in the public accounting industry chiefly as an audit manager. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Northern Arizona University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Salvatore DiPiazza
Partner
Serving as a principal since June 2015, Sal is predominantly responsible for new business development at BDI. Sal has been involved in nearly every aspect of the wireless industry since 1986. He served an integral part in pioneering the store-in-store concept of selling wireless phones and services via kiosks strategically placed within high-traffic big box retailers. Prior to joining BDI, Sal served as President and CEO of Exchange My Mail, Inc. a leading provider of hosted email services based in New York. He has maintained the role of Executive VP and Principal of Wireless Retail, Inc., a national retailer of mobile phone services that primarily operated retailer-branded kiosks and provided in-store staffing for national retailers such as Sam’s Club, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, K-Mart, etc., and sold services for nearly every mobile carrier in the country. In addition, Sal has held executive positions with other leading wireless providers throughout the United States.
